There's been bolts of thunder, with short torrents of rain. But, we're also in the middle of a heatwave, with gusts of hot wind, which makes it worse. There is no reprieve with hot wind! Still, there is something majestic about strong trees blowing like thin reeds, and temperatures beyond our human comfort.
I managed to catch the aftermath of one of these storms, hoping that I wouldn't get caught in another - which I didn't.
