Blurring Across to the Other Side

Sandra Brewster, Untitled, 2015-2016 [Image source]
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I briefly wrote about Sandra Brewster in 2019. I think I may have found her images, and her site, through one of the art gallery (Facebook?) postings.

Nonetheless, I didn't transfer the post to my regular Reclaiming Beauty site. I thought it was a strange perspective of a black woman artist, but couldn't analyze it. I wrote: "It's extraordinary that a black woman would depict herself in this manner." I was thinking in terms of physical presentation, where the photo is not only blurred, but damaged and torn.

Brewster's website (quoting an Art Gallery of Ontario piece) has this:

“In her Blur series, Sandra Brewster explores layered experiences of identity — ones that may bridge relationships to Canada and elsewhere, as well as to the present and the past. The artist directs her subjects to move while she takes their picture. Then, using a gel medium, she transfers her image to a new surface, capturing changes in the creases and tears and empty spaces where ink does not adhere. These layered works capture the effect of existing in a state that defies easy categorization. They evoke the self in motion, embodying time and space, and channeling cultures and stories passed down from generation to generation.”

Well, I think it is related to the post I just put up on Beshir and MacDonell, where artists are now aggressively going for a "spiritual" (I call it as it an occult) dimension.

Below is the post on Brewster, who is getting a "heads up" by the Ryerson Image Centre's Facebook page, and curator of the gallery, Gaelle Morel, who came to the RIC via France, and is returning to her native country to curate an exhibition by Brewester, at the historic city of Arles, where Van Gogh painted some of his iconic paintings (disclosure: I am no fan of Van Gogh, but his paintings stretch miles ahead of Brewester's "photographs."). This upcoming exhibition at Arles is presented thus:

Brewster demande à ses sujets de bouger volontairement au moment de la prise de vue, le flou permettant ainsi d’évoquer des identités à la fois complexes et fluides.

Bresster asks her subjects to move voluntarily (as they wish) at the moment of taking the picture, the blur allowing thus to evoke identities that are at times complex and fluid. [My translation].

So there's that word again, "evoke." Thus, Brewster enters that "other side," through the "voluntary" bodily movement of her subjects, and whose "in between" spaces she photographs. She is attempting to catch their "spirits."

Gaelle Morel, Juror for the 2022 Scotia Bank Photography Exhibition.
Morel, is curating an upcoming exhibition at the RIC on "Ward 81, a high security, locked psychiatry facility for women" by Mary Ellen Marks. Another, with a guest curator is titled: The Mind's Eye: The Psychic Photographs of Ted Serios.

What better group than the mad, the already mad, to glean psychic insight on how to "go to the other side."

How Beshir and MacDonnell Reached the Occult

Left: Still from video (video available here and here) of panel discussion Cine de la liberación - dislocaciones binarias y diáspora negra in which Beshir participated
Right: Still from video (video available here and here) from Annie MacDonell's video OUTTHERE (for Lee Lozano)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wrote these past few weeks about two women who penetrated the occult while presenting their works in an artistic context: Jessica Beshir and Annie MacDonell. [Find more postings here on them through this site's "search box."]

It is intriguing to try to decipher why they chose this medium, this occult.

In the case of Beshir, her film Faya Dayi has multiple layers, autobiographical in an obtuse way, political, but also as a way to expose or bring out a particular form of worship, of incantations, through which her young Oromo male protagonists evoke pre-Muslim/Sufi-Muslim spirits.

The turmoil of Beshir's conclusion that these Oromo were stigmatized by Ethiopia, and in particular the civilizational leaders, the Amhara, that these Oromo were "oppressed," allowed space for spiritual forces to enter her psyche. I have refuted this racial oppression that Beshir presents in her interviews (and which you can access through the "search box" at the top of this site). So Beshir's anger, even rage, and indignation has to be placated by one of two forces: through God, the Christian God, or evocations of nefarious forces. I think she chose the latter. She chose the occult.

Annie MacDonell uses feminist ideology to soothe her rage, palpable in the kind of art she makes, where in one instance she uses a photograph of The Pieta by Michelangelo from St. Peter’s Basilica and "splits," dismantles, Jesus' head. No Christianity for her. And Christ is male, as is God. MacDonell thus evokes the (female) witch's presence to relieve this rage.

Beshir's and MacDonell's anger is incited by what they perceive to be wrongs, and wrong-doings, done to them as specific entities through femaleness (MacDonell), and through ethnicity/race (Beshir). Both women referenced their own personal identity - femaleness and ethnicity/race as a starting point to delve further into the occult.

Beshir chose her Oromo ethnic identity, latched onto the ideology of racism, transferred this to the racism she maintains these Oromo experience, and used the Oromo mythology in pre-Islam/Sufi mystics' Islam to evoke spirits.

MacDonell chose her feminine identity, latched onto the feminist ideology, and evoked witches, her culture's particular spirits.

Aggression and anger from a deep-seated sense of wrong doing they feel is directed at them (personally, and then at their larger group) propel these women into ideological animosity, which then evokes animus, an animating spirit, which then let these spirits enter their being, their work, and their life.

Will Smith and Defense of the Family

The word is that you can no longer defend the honor of your family, and your wife.
Will Smith, who I think is a very good actor, and has played diverse roles (another that I like is Denzel Washington, who has a similar wide-reaching acting portfolio) was at the recent Oscars, sitting at the front row with his wife Jada. He was nominated for Best Actor. Before he was to receive the winning prize, the Oscar, the presenter Chris Rock, who took on the role of court jester channeling his stand-up comedy career, was making the usual "comedy" act bad jokes and making fun of the Oscar's attendees - the movie stars.

He glanced down at Smith and his wife and made this "joke,": "G.I. Jane 2,’ can’t wait to see it."

He was referring to a film made by Demi Moore, who played a head-shaved G.I. Jane in the film of the same name:

When a crusading chairperson of the military budget committee pressures the would be Navy secretary to begin full gender integration of the service, he offers the chance for a test case for a female trainee in the US Navy's elite SEAL/C.R.T. selection program. LT. Jordan O'Neill is given the assignment, but no one expects her to succeed in an inhumanly punishing regime that has a standard 60% dropout rate for men. However, O'Neill is determined to prove everyone wrong.

Smith's wife has publicly discussed her medical condition, which causes her hair to fall out. Rather than wear a wig, she has decided to "go bald" for some time.

The weasel Rock's claim to fame in the motion picture department is the film Grown Ups:

In 1978, five 12-year-olds win a CYO basketball championship. Thirty years later, they gather with their families for their coach's funeral and a weekend at a house on a lake where they used to party. By now, each is a grownup with problems and challenges: Marcus is alone and drinks too much. Rob, with three daughters he rarely sees, is always deeply in love until he turns on his next ex-wife. Eric is overweight and out of work. Kurt is a househusband, henpecked by wife and mother-in-law. Lenny is a successful Hollywood agent married to a fashion designer with three kids and his two sons take their privilege for granted. Can the outdoors help these grownups rediscover connections or is this chaos in the making?

Chris Rock played Kurt: "a househusband, henpecked by wife and mother-in-law.

By the way, Rock divorced from his wife of twenty years in 2016. (Yes, Smith has a history of a prior marriage that he says occurred when he was too young and in the whirlwind of his television career in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, a funny, long-running comedy show: "A streetwise, poor young man from Philadelphia is sent by his mother to live with his aunt, uncle and cousins in their Bel-Air mansion." But he has been with his wife for twenty five years now.

Rock does periodic "stand up comedy" shows, which are never funny. They are full of ugly, often sexualized, and racialized, rants, and often at the expense of the audience. So, he knows what he's doing.

It was in this context that he decided that Jada Smith was fair game. He took his chances, and he got Will Smith.

All the "media" fell hard on Smith. Their mantra: violence is never acceptable. None mention Smith's wife, and her predicament. None talk about the sacrosanct family, which the head of the family, the male, is mandated to protect.

It is like the "anti-war" crowd that would rather a country subvert its nation to the enemy, casting away its guns, rather than pull out the necessary ammunition to remove the enemy.

Smith was acting in defense: he was defending his wife, his family, and his own honor. He couldn't let a weasley little man defame all this. It was big.

Of course, the contemporary society doesn't see it this way. ALL violence is bad, they say. But what about Chris Rock's calculated violence, against the ailing wife of his co-actor? He gets off with applause and laughs, while Jada Smith and her family deal every day with her illness, and its consequences.

This may be Hollywood, but it puts a spot light on how contemporary elites work, and whose best interest they have in mind. It is not ours.

The hypocrites at The Social (here is my recent post on them), who for all their "equality" are all about elitism. Their Oscar fashion party, where they talk about ball gowns and glitz, was ruined by a bit of reality. Violence is never good, they say. Lui, who appears to defend Smith is cagey. She just cannot come out unequivocally with "he was defending his wife," but shuffles around with: "can two things be true?" all concerned about her own "inner conflict."

Lui has her say around 5:14 - 5:23, and 6:45 - 7:27  (full video below), but backtracks "Don't get me wrong. I think what he [Will Smith" did was wrong, 100%. But who gets to judge..." She does have a full panel of "Will Haters," after all, who are attacking Will at every opportunity. And her lucrative job at The Social is too good to let go. And of course, she brings up Mel Gibson and compares him to Smith (around 8:10 - 8:23), whose film career was ruined because of his "antisemitism." Loudly, Lui yells "This is NOT a punishment!" wildly gesticulating.

Inner conflict is a terrible thing to have.

Lui: "What do we need?!!!!" - Justice!!!

Larry Auster

Today is the ninth anniversary of the death of Lawrence Auster.

Larry had a website he maintained for more than a decade, which he pedantically titled "View From the Right" aka VFR, but it was far from pedantic, tackling subjects from fashion,  to politics, and many posts on his beloved New York where he lived most of his adult life. He had a "comments" section, but it was monitored. This way, his website wouldn't be hijacked by some, well, hijacker.

Larry gave me a compliment on my writing around 2013, soon after I started my Reclaiming Beauty site. His comment I believe captured exactly what I was trying to do. He understood the importance I gave my site, my posts (which I carefully composed), and the message I endeavored to give:

"There is something appealing about your semi flow-of-associations writing. Not everything needs to be big and important. What you provide is a feeling of your life, of yourself."

Here is a post I wrote on Larry soon after we heard of his death:

The first time I met Larry was in 2009, when I went to New York to participate in an event for the Danish Cartoonist Kurt Westergaard. I went with a group from Canada called the International Free Press Society. Larry knew about my trip to New York, and he and I met separately. He gave me a spot to meet in the middle of Manhattan, a small diner called The Red Flame. He had never met me before, but I had my blog up with my photo for a couple of years by then. He politely came up to me and asked "Are you Kidist?" rather than make a rude assumption. He ordered a hamburger, which I found out is a favorite of his, while I had a chicken salad. He was impressed with my dietary choice, and it was one of the best chicken salads I've had.

After lunch, we walked for many blocks up Fifth Avenue, with Larry pointing out various New York landmarks and spots. He was especially keen to show me Rockefeller Center, which clearly still surprised him even though he was a long-time resident of New York. The Christmas tree and decorations were up, and skaters were pirouetting beneath us.

We kept walking down Fifth Avenue and at some point we found a beautiful courtyard interior. I cannot find the name of this place, but New York is filled with such unique surprises. We got some refreshments, to take a break and to enjoy this interior. I ordered a diet coke, and Larry talked about ordering a whisky. But he was too polite to do so, and we sat drinking diet cokes together.

We met again almost two years later, in 2011. Larry planned a VFR Christmas dinner for his readers and friends. The group met at an Irish pub/restaurant in mid-town Manhattan called Kennedy's. I was honored to have been included in this list, and made every effort to attend. I was able to attend, and at the same time spend a few days in New York.

This time, our cultural visit was to the Metropolitan Museum. Laura Wood, from The Thinking Housewife also came. The attraction was the annual Christmas Tree with a Neapolitan Baroque Crèche. We looked at the figurines with amazement. How could such small sculptures be crafted so perfectly? We looked for Baby Jesus, and found his tiny, perfect form. After the visit, which included rushing through various exhibits in the museum, we went down to have a snack in the restaurant/cafeteria. Larry said he liked coming there for a meal. I agreed that the food was of high quality. I suspect it was also the cultural environment that Larry liked, when he went just for a meal to the museum.

I traveled again to New York in August 2012. I stayed about a week. This time, I went to try and get some sponsorship for my book project. I also did my usual rounds of shopping and museum viewing. I telephoned Larry to say I was in New York (I had emailed him about my trip), and he suggested we meet at the lovely Straus Park, which is near his home, as well as near where I was staying. I had bought my (computer/portable) tablet then, and Larry, with his perennial curiosity, wanted to look up more about the Park, while we sat on the bench in front of the statue "Memory."

According to this site, on the background of the Park:

In 1912, the City named this park after the Strauses, who had lived in a frame house at 27-47 Broadway, near 105th Street. Public subscriptions of $20,000 were raised to commission this monument. The work consists of a granite curved exedra, a central bronze reclining female figure of Memory (for which the celebrated model Audrey Munson posed), and a reflecting pool. The monument was dedicated three years to the day after the Titanic sank.

We nonetheless had cheerful things to talk about. I told Larry I went to Macy's earlier in the morning, and he asked me what I'd bought. It was a pink polka dot blouse which, I proudly told him, I'd gotten for half price on sale. Larry was in tune with clothing and fashion, and would notice small things like hats, bracelets and the patterns and colors of dresses, which he wasn't shy about commenting. I showed him a catalog of Carolina Herrera's evening gowns whose flagship store in mid-town Manhattan I'd also visited. He had some very clear preferences, and didn't like the low cut, "one-sleeve" evening gowns, and said it spoilt otherwise beautiful dresses. I agreed with him, that all this skin exposure was diminishing the beauty of the dresses, and the beauty of women.

My museum trip this time around was to the Cloisters. I had read about them in my tourist guide, and in an article a while back in some magazine, and was intrigued by them. I've written about them here. Larry was not so well by then, and I told him the trip is long. We'd have to take an uptown bus all the way to Washington Heights, then change buses to take us to the Cloisters. Once there, we would have to do a shortish walk on cobbled stones to get to the museum. He was hesitant, and I made the decision. "Let's go," I said. "We can always take the bus back, or catch a cab, if it is too difficult." We made it. It was a lovely trip. The Cloisters feel like a remote, hill-top castle. Even though they are technically in New York City, they feel like they're miles (geographically and culturally) away from the city. One lovely spot of repose is by the compound's walls, with a view of the Hudson River and the George Washington Bridge.

Larry lived off Riverside Drive, which has a beautiful path by the Hudson River. We walked along the drive to view the various luxury homes, with their elegant mouldings and brickwork, and to experience some of the natural paths that are part of New York. There was a cool breeze coming from the river, a welcome respite from the hot August sun.

Recently, in December, I was in New York once again, and once again I attended a Christmas dinner for friends and readers of VFR. We met again at Kennedy's. Larry was weaker this time, and I think the dinner tired him. But he was good company. I met with him a couple of times after the dinner. This time, our cultural visit was to the Morgan Library and Museum, which houses Pierpont Morgan's collections (later expanded by his son J. P. Morgan) of books, manuscripts, sculpture and paintings in mid-town Manhattan. It is an eclectic and interesting place. Once again, I had gone earlier, and suggested to Larry that this would be a good place to visit. There were seats all around the museum for resting, and it is not overwhelmingly big. Larry seemed to acquire energy from somewhere, because we stayed viewing the collections longer than I thought we would.

Larry always liked to experience things, staying a little longer at an especially beautiful spot, or walking down an interesting curve in a path, or spending time before a sculpture or a painting. New York is a haven for beauty in unexpected places. Even the subways and buses were places for this unexpected beauty. In order to take his mind off his ill-health, Larry would recite poetry he had memorized. During one subway ride, he recited poems by W. B. Yeats to me. He said reciting these poems (aloud or silently) refreshed him and helped him to absorb his attention and put him in a calm state. He posted many poems by Yeats at View From the Right. I read and studied these poems over the years, and grew to know and to somewhat understand them.

One of the most enchanting places we visited was the Plaza Hotel near Central Park. I had visited it earlier and again told Larry we should go there just for coffee (a meal would just be too expensive). We entered the lovely lobby and went into the Palm Court. It was late afternoon, and the staff was closing down (tea can only be served for so long, after all). Larry asked if we could just sit at the edge for a little while, and the staff obliged. We also dared to walk around to view the "marble caryatids representing the Four Seasons on the westwall." The wait staff patiently left us alone. Covering the Palm Court is a spectacular, restored art deco stained glass ceiling, which gave a regal and grand air to our brief stay.

We went downstairs to the "food court" for a quick snack. For some reason Hamentash, a Jewish delicacy traditionally eaten during Purim, was available. Larry suggested I try one with apricot filling. It was a dry, sweet pastry, and the apricot gave it a distinct and sophisticated taste. So we did get our tea (or coffee) at the Plaza after all.

Later that week, we had dinner at West 107 on Broadway, where I had one of the best pork chop meals. There was enough left over to take home. Rather than have dessert, Larry suggested that we go to his neighborhood restaurant, The Broadway Restaurant (which is really a diner), for hot chocolate. It was a real treat, with whipped cream piled on top of the rich chocolate drink.

My last visit with Larry was at a hamburger meal in a restaurant called Toast, where we went after our visit to the Morgan Library. "Cook it rare" he told the waiter. He educated me on the best way to eat this American tradition: "I don't know how people eat the dried up, over-cooked hamburgers that has become normal fare. The meat has to be moist, and to do that, you need very good meat, and you cannot over cook it." And it was the best hamburger I have eaten.

At Toast, Larry decided to have a glass of his beloved whisky. He was very particular about the kind he wanted. The brand he chose he said was lighter and more delicate. I ordered the house wine, to keep him company, and to enjoy a glass. It was a lovely fruity, light wine. Larry picked up my glass and said he just wanted to smell it. He did so with relish. This episode encouraged me to write (and research) about wine. Here is the article I posted which I titled The God of Wine.

I could tell that Larry loved New York; the old, original, artistic New York. His neighborhood gave him a lot of pleasure, and almost every corner was for discovering. I think he enjoyed my company, and was happy to show me his New York. And he was protective. If we went too long without a break, he would suggest a snack or a meal, and he would more often than not pick up the tab. He put me in a taxi one late evening, and paid the driver the fare before I had time to protest.

Back in Canada, I received notice from a group of VFR readers that they were planning an intercessory prayer for Larry. I went to my favorite Irish pub in my neighborhood, Failte's, to toast Larry with my favorite beer, Harp. I emailed Larry photos I had taken of the interior of the pub, and that I had gone there to have a glass of Harp in his name. He wrote back that Harp was his favorite Irish beer. I found that uncanny, and a sign that I had done the right thing, and perhaps these prayers would make a difference.

If we had more time, I am sure he'd have found many places to discover, and to rediscover. And a few more things in common.

He wrote to me in an email in mid-January (2013): "There is something appealing about your semi flow-of-associations writing. Not everything needs to be big and important. What you provide is a feeling of your life, of yourself."

I hope with this account, I have provided a feeling for Larry's life, as I understood it and as I experienced it.

The "Council of European Canadians" crowd is a bunch of idiots, fools,
and ultimately dangerous "western" citizens

[I sent the above comment to the Council of European Canadian's article: The UN General Assembly Vote Against Russia, and the Shifting Barometer of Power this Sunday, March 27, mid-afternoon. It got "removed," but I got a screenshot of it.]

I proposed to the Council of European Canadians to post my article on Jessica Beshir's film Faya Dayi (which was by then published on three Ethiopian and Ethiopia-related online news sites). I withdrew my proposal after I saw what Ricardo Duchesnes, the group's apparent leader, writes about Russia and Putin, eulogizing both. These are encapsulated in this article, for which I sent my comment, and which got "removed." There are many more similar articles if you chose to go on their site.

It is extraordinary. Here are Canadians, who purport to come from European origins, a continent that gave us Bach, Mozart, Leonardo Da Vinci, and the beautiful, extraordinary Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, rooting for a thug that is running his country dry, and who has never renounced his Communist ideology.

Background on Duchesne from Wikipedia: He has "Afro-Puerto Rican" ancestry through his father. Duchesne NEVER mentions this, and instead meanders through "white nationalism" and "white heritage" often in explicitly racist tones. Why? What is he compensating for? Why doesn't he talk about this, at least in some introductory article on his website?

Don't be fooled by Duchesne's "Western Culture" shtick, because now I do think it is a shtick. If he is so ready to sell out "Western Civilization" for a Russian Commie thug, then he IS playing games (roulette, is what it is).

Duchesne has the St. Petersburg's Winter Palace as the header image for his "gab" site. There is no doubt that it IS beautiful. Duchesne's gamble is that Putin will return Russia back to this pre-Communist, Tsarist, glory. But there is one thing he's omitting. Putin is part of the old guard, their inheritor, that butchered these Russian royalty, and who then set up their own elitist, "royal," posts as THEY played Russian roulette with the lives of Russia's citizens, and massacred them.

The CEC crowd is a bunch of idiots, fools, and ultimately dangerous "western" citizens. They are the ones we need to watch out for.

Putin will have NO concerns for Duchesne, nor for his pathetic team, with their undivided loyalty to his monstrosities. He will if necessary (and even if not...) put them on the firing line as quickly as any one else.

Good riddance to these rubbish.

Satan Rears His Head on a Dress

Here is the email I wrote to The Social, a program which fashions itself after The View. Both are fascinating depositories of anti-White, anti-West, anti-Christian, and anti-Canadian/anti-American commentary.

I also posted this on The Social's Facebook page, both under the original posting, and in their most recent: "Fashion" at the Oscars Facebook posting.

It is very interesting that Lui is wearing a dress with 999 (i.e. 666 - the Devil's signature), and with a partial quote by Hunter S. Thompson "...journey to the grave..." which you can read in full here.

Thomspon committed suicide by gun shot.

Brilliant!!! Way to go Lui, with your anti-Canadian, anti-White, anti-Christian rants, while conveniently married to your white husband. We, Africans, do not want your endorsements. We remember when YOU used to write those anti-black rants.

The Social is a fascinating expose of Toronto's multi-culti mafia.

Shame on you Grelo, with your own fake Catholicism, and crotch-exposing mini-mini shorts, where you "admire" this clearly occult-satanic dress statement.

And shame on you Loyst with your pornographic education as you bring up a young boy.

And shame on you, Allen, with your subservience and genuflection in this anti-White program, betraying your own people - you deserve to be stuck there.

The Anti-War, Pro-Ethiopia PM Abiy

PM Abiy has, throughout his leadership, professed, and proved, his pro-Ethiopia stand. And even as he was forced to fight regionally instigated wars, he has found any means possible to stop, or to shorten, any armed conflict that his government was engaged in.

Here is his latest

“To optimize the success of the humanitarian truce, the Government calls upon the insurgents in Tigray to desist from all acts of further aggression and withdraw from areas they have occupied in neighboring regions,” the statement said.

As usual, there will be naysayers, cynics, the "anti" crowd, and the various regional insurgent group leaders.

Still, PM Abiy is a politician, and he HAS to play politics.

But, he IS saying "give peace a chance."

And, not surprisingly, the groups he addressed IMMEDIATELY accepted his call for truce. And so they should, fighting as they are on empty.

Kidist Foods: To "...aggressively stand against this worldwide coup..."

[Design by KPA]

[Quote in title from the article Unsustainable Humanity (posted below), by Dr. Igor Shepherd]

The Kidist Foods Centre is to provide employment to the Addis Ababa urban women with meaningful work, related to their own past experiences as cooks for their homes, families and relatives.

The original request was that I include solar cooking methods in my presentation, but I did not do so. But I had to compromise, and used the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) language of "empowerment" and "women's economic power" to present a strategy based on women's role as home-makers. My presentation stressed that even as these women are earning wages, they are doing so with something they know well: cooking.

Near the end of my proposal, I say succinctly:

Women have talented skills in typically female activities such as cooking and sewing. Through well-managed projects they can provide meals and food items for local restaurants, hotels and private homes by selling their products for profit to further benefit their own homes and families.

I stressed that this was a small business activity "to further benefit their own homes and families." There would ideally be another, male, member of the family, possibly a husband, who would be providing the household's major income.

Another part of this presentation was to stress the local, traditional nature of this activity. These women are cooking traditional foods, that they learned to do from a young age and not through some foreign/alien organization's training center.

And ALL traditional Ethiopian food incorporates meat and animal products in the dishes. The various lentil, chickpea, pea flours and dishes are important components in the overall diet, as are vegetable dishes, but they are not the sole components. Even poor families attempt to put some kind of meat dish in their meals, even if for holidays (of which there are dozens in the Ethiopian calendar).

So, this presentation, and the consequent Kidist Foods idea was my subversive way to remove the Sustainable Development Goals - "SDG" - mantra, and the "female empowerment" ideology, and to present a local, traditional, full-diet focus which includes BOTH meat (animal products including eggs and dairy) AND non-meat/vegetable/legumes, that are part of the Ethiopian diet.

I also used tradition and culture as the premise for this project.

Kidist means "Blessed" in the Amharic Christian tradition. It is also my grandmother's name.

Kidist Foods thus means "Blessed" Foods.

Here is my introduction to the workshop:

Kidist Paulos Asrat participated in the Non-Governmental Organizations Committee on the Status of Women 61 conference (NGO CSW 61) in New York City which took place from March 13 - March 24, 2017.

The workshop took place in the International Church Center of the United Nations Hardin Room.

And that this workshop I presented my ideas...:
To provide employment to the Addis Ababa urban women with meaningful work, related to their own experiences as cooks for their homes, families and relatives.
Here is the my original proposal for my presentation:

Proposal: Economic Empowerment through Small Scale Enterprise

Priority Theme: Women's Economic Power and the Changing World of Work

1. Sponsoring Organization:

Nation to Nation Networking

2. Region: Africa

3. Parallel Event Title by Nation to Nation Networking:

Empowering Urban Women with their health and well-being for themselves, their children and their families through small business enterprises.

4. Brief Description:

Urban Third World women can participate in their respective countries' economies through small scale businesses, either with home-based enterprises or by catering to specific businesses in their communities, in order to manage their own and their families financial health and well-being.

Women have talented skills in typically female activities such as cooking and sewing. Through well-managed projects they can provide meals and food items for local restaurants, hotels and private homes by selling their products for profit to further benefit their own homes and families.

Special workshops and training sessions can be set up to help these women with:

- business enterprises

- healthy and wholesome cooking facilities and methods

- hygiene

- food storage and transportation techniques

- financial management of the enterprises

- Mentorship and guidance

5. Demonstrate/Explain How topic directly relates to theme selected:

Women are having to contribute to the financial well-being of their families more and more. But many are still juggling home-care with earning wages for their families. The small-business enterprises described above will use the home-based skills and knowledge they have already mastered so that they can generate income. They will be able to contribute their earnings towards their families' household income, pulling them out of poverty and dependence. These women will be able to participate in the changing world of work, which puts them in the forefront of their families' economic activity by giving them important economic powers.

Below is an article by Igor Shepherd on the NDG, and the its hiddent (not so hiddent) agenda. I will not explain any further, but read the whole article with the anticipation of a mystery story, a crime story, to get the full picture.
This is what I was, and what I am, battling with my tiny contribution of Kidist Foods.

The following article elucidates all this. At the very end, the author, Dr. Igor Shepherd, makes a says this:

This information should be received like a punch in the face, and hard, because this means, without question or doubt, that the one-world governing system is already knocking at our doors. If the citizens of the world do not aggressively stand against this worldwide coup, we will all become unsustainable beings, and lose our rights to dream, set goals, buy homes, own businesses, eat red meat, drive cars, travel, and even worse, we will be denied the right to be human.

He makes the plea that: "...citizens of the world...aggressively stand against this worldwide coup..."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The world populations would be shaking with absolute terror if they knew how close they are to losing everything they hold dear to their hearts. Infiltrated cronies who have been secretly pushing toward a one world government for many decades have waited patiently for their cue to bolt onto the world stage and show arm muscle. The phony pandemic was act one with which the global elites were able to openly introduce their global goals. Act two, the Russian-Ukrainian drama, will soon reveal the true strength behind those bulging biceps.

You may ask, how advanced is globalization? Dear readers, it is done! Out of 195 countries in the world, 193 of them are members of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and participators under Agenda 2030. This is the final great reset of all nations under one global authority, and all previous governments of the world will be dismantled and no longer exist by the year 2030. Do I have your attention?

Sustainable development, if it was listed in an honest dictionary, would be defined as “infiltrated communism.” It was introduced by communist sympathizers as a means to “save the environment,” but that was just a front, along with climate change, to fast-track the global agenda and persuade the nations to hop on board. Behind SDGs are the tools with which to effectively infiltrate new communism into the heart of every nation. Under this new reign of dictatorship, old communism will pale in comparison.

Introduced by collectivist partisan Gro Brundtland in 1987, sustainable development is a strategy of mass deception, fully supported and promoted by the United Nations. Brundtland, at that time, was vice president for Socialist International and had also been director for the World Health Organization. Ironically, the Iron Curtain toppled just a few years after she launched sustainable development, which opened the door for spread and acceptance of the new communist action plan (sustainable development) worldwide.

Today, sustainable development is implemented into all government entities, political policies, universities, corporations and businesses. Through the sustainability facade, all land, water, minerals, plants, animals, construction, production, information, energy, and even humans will be itemized, rationed and controlled. Anything deemed unsustainable will be excluded and removed from society (the term “unessential” that was used during the lockdowns to eliminate certain businesses was birthed from sustainable development philosophy).

Unsustainability under the new world government will include the middle-class lifestyle (thus why America’s standard of living is being ripped to shreds), liberty, ownership of homes, businesses and vehicles, air conditioners, appliances, private farming, rural living, eating red meat, and over-population. The SDGs will change every facet of our lives as food, energy, housing, transportation, education, technology and humanity is revolutionized.

Out of their own mouths the globalists themselves inform us that the laws and values of western society will not exist under the global new government. This means that sustainable development caters specifically to the communist ideology.

The United Nations, since its inception in 1945, has been the gateway for the new world order. Clark Eichelberger, who was the executive director of the United Nations up to 1964, and then vice president of the United Nations Association of the USA, wrote a journal piece in 1949, clearly divulging the UN’s (and the US’s) intentions for one-world solidarity. He lets us know that a world government will evolve through the United Nations—and how right he was! The UN is currently the head organizers for Agenda 2030’s new world order.

An excerpt from Eichelberger’s article states the following:

The answer to the subject of “World Government via United Nations” can, according to my point of view, be given easily. World Government has evolved and will evolve through the United Nations as the people are willing for it to evolve. The process has already begun.

The United States leaders have been undermining the American people and their freedoms for a long time. Senior President George Bush spoke often about the formation of a one world government. On September 11, 1991, right after the Persian Gulf “crisis,” Bush gave an interesting speech and said the following to the sleeping American people:

Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective—a new world order—can emerge: A new era—freer from the threat of terror, stronger in the pursuit of justice and more secure in the quest for peace. An era in which the nations of the world, east and west, north and south, can prosper and live in harmony.”

Coincidentally, ten years later on that same day and month (9-11), under his son’s presidency, the World Trade Center was attacked and brought down, killing almost 3000 people. That “crisis” opened the door for the new war on terror policy, which provided excuse for the US government to undermine American freedoms and militarily invade other countries. Soon afterward the US initiated an invasion of Afghanistan, and NATO went after the Taliban, which harbored the big scary al-Qaeda terrorists. 45 days after 9-11, the Patriot Act passed which paved the way for the new world order agenda, allowing unchecked surveillance on Americans. For the first time in history, American citizens were observed as terrorist suspects.

Terrorism was another boogeyman scare tactic with which the US was able to create constant fear and justify any new draconian laws or wars which the government felt like imposing. Funny, though, how quickly the terrorist threat disappeared from the news media after Covid-19 came into play. Maybe the terrorists are playing golf with the pandemic pushers who also vanished from headlines after the Russian bear stood up on its hind feet.

The UN’s website blatantly lets the world know that Sustainable Development Goals (the new world order) will be in place by 2030. We can read this on their website:

Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development…with a deadline of 2030 to build foundations for a thriving, peaceful, sustainable planet.

Of course, a global government can never be thriving and peaceful, not when citizens have no say in the government rules imposed on them.

A 2030 deadline would not be possible if globalists were not confident the new world order was ready to commence. The UN’s website catalogues all 193 nations as members of the SDGs and Agenda 2030. The United States, China, Russia and Ukraine are on the list, meaning that they are all working together to form a new world order.

Now think about that; why would any communist nation who has never been willing to allow democracy, faith, or freedom inside their borders, and persecutes those who do, suddenly want to mesh with the free nations who undermine their stringent principles? How do you globalize nations who are free with those nations who rule with tyranny? How does that work? How can it work? And why would Russia’s Putin, who is a member of the UN’s sustainable development, and whose aspirations have always been to spread communism throughout the world, start a war with Ukraine’s Zelenskyy, another fellow globalist, and undermine those same desired goals?

I can tell you from my own experience in growing up in the Soviet Union that it an impossibility to globalize nations when half of them adhere to democracy. Collectivist leaders embrace an ideology of occultism and atheism, meaning they will never compromise or surrender those beliefs any more than a dedicated Christian will deny Christ. They always have and always will do whatever it takes to communize the free countries around them, even if it means becoming chameleons to do so.

The upcoming global order will have to eliminate one side or the other in order to accomplish such a feat. And trust me, they already have. They know a democratic society would never surrender to a one world dictatorship because it violates everything they believe and stand for.

Do you see the manipulative twist with which sustainable development is used to fool the free nations and push communism into the forefront as an acceptable governance for the world? They want us to forget history altogether, erase the memory of millions who were murdered and impoverished under communist leadership, and foolishly take on the silly notion that a global authoritarian regime will heroically “keep peace” and “save the planet.”

This new world order will not be like China’s current communism, or like the previous USSR’s communism. A one world government will be more malicious in nature than ever before witnessed because the control of humanity is absolute— and this is why the powers that be throughout history have strived for globalism.

This new regime will show no mercy. Human value will have no place at their table. They will utilize advanced technology and bioweaponry to genetically rewire the DNA of the entire human race. And this is no science fiction fantasy on my part. They plan to do this, per their own words. They have the capabilities through years of advanced bioweaponry research to implement methods (mostly via vaccinations) with which to employ kill switches, eliminate whole races, and alter sexual identity, thoughts, and physical appearances of humans. One collective mindset will replace all independent thinking.

It is no mere coincidence that the makers of Covid-19’s mRNA gene-altering vaccines, Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson, are official partners of the infamous World Economic Forum (WEF). Founder, Klaus Schwab, blatantly endorses genetically engineering all of humanity. His books, The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Shaping the Future of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, describe their determination to fashion a new form of human species.

In a 2015 video interview, news journalist Charlie Rose questioned Klaus Schwab on gene editing. Rose states the following:

“Gene editing is opening a whole new horizon for medical science.”

Schwab replies:

“The 4th Industrial Revolution doesn’t change what you are doing—it changes you, and if you take genetic editing as an example, it is you who has changed, of course, and that has a big impact on your identity.”

Rose comments back:

“Some people worry that you are changing what it means to be human.

Schwab answers:

“That is the problem…the new industrial revolution raises many questions on ethical and even legal implications…”

Schwab admits in this interview that biological warfare against humanity is a plan for the future. His Fourth Industrial Revolution involves the complete transformation of all human beings by fusing together the physical, digital, and biological elements.

Through the implementation of the fake pandemic, Schwab’s coldblooded designs became a reality. Billions of people caved in to the fear propaganda fed them on the news, and without researching the experimental mRNA vaccines, gambled with their lives and allowed madmen in power to hijack the one beautiful thing that makes them unique and human—their DNA. The weaponized vaccines jumpstarted the global agenda’s sick quest to change what it means to be human, and that manmade material that has been fused into the nucleus of their cells (and it certainly has because that is what mRNA technology does) is irreversible. Only time will tell what the final effects will be, and those that continue to vaccinate over and over again will most certainly lose their identities and become the transhumanists of the future.

I do find it alarming that only the free peoples and militaries of the western nations received the experimental gene-altering mRNA vaccinations. Russia and China did not use the mRNA technology on their military and citizens.

Schwab’s lackey, Professor Yuval Harari, who is a historian and prominent speaker for the World Economic Forum, backs up Schwab’s death-throes for humankind. Some of his quotes seem as though they would come straight out of a horror movie. Note how he refers to the globalists as the “elite” and elevates them over the citizens of the world:

“By hacking organisms, elites may gain the power to reengineer the future of life itself. Because once you can hack something you can usually also engineer it.”

In the next quotation Harari inadvertently categorizes the World Economic Forum as tyrants, which proves my points in this article:

“Now in the past many tyrants and governments wanted to do it but nobody understood biology well enough and nobody had enough computing power and data to hack millions of people. Neither the gestapo nor the KGB could do it, but soon, at least some corporations and governments will be able to systematically hack all the people.”

He reveals how the global government longs to remove God from creation and interchange themselves as “god” over the human race:

“Science is replacing evolution by natural selection with evolution by intelligent design. Not the intelligent design of some God above the clouds. Not evolution by natural selection but evolution by intelligent design.”

Harari shoves his foot in his mouth with his next statement:

Humans are now hackable animals…so, whatever I choose in the election…free will, that’s over.”

This guy is unable to keep his dark emotions in check, and whistles dixie while confessing that he wants to eliminate the thinking “animals” of the world, steal their free will, and genetically destroy their humanness.

We should not be surprised to find out that the mRNA Covid-19 vaccine companies are partnered with the human-hating World Economic Forum. Johnson & Johnson had no regard for human life when they were caught illegally marketing the antipsychotic medication, Risperdal, to children and the elderly.

GlaxoSmithKline was messed up in the largest healthcare fraud in US history and ordered to pay $3 billion dollars in restitutions after promoting unsafe antidepressants to children. Pfizer agreed to pay out over $60 million dollars to settle charges by the Department of Justice for bribing foreign officials to expedite drug approvals, which led to increased sales in eight countries, including Russia and China.

It goes on. Veterans sued AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Roche and Johnson & Johnson, alleging the pharmaceutical giants paid bribes to terrorists in order to acquire profitable contracts. Moderna’s top executives were brought under scrutiny by an anti-corruption watchdog group for stock market manipulation.

The Bill Gates Foundation and the World Health Organization, both known proponents of depopulation, were found hiding hormones in the tetanus shots they were administering in Africa and the Philippines in the 1990’s, which caused numerous miscarriages. On top of that, their DTP vaccine killed more children in Africa than the diseases they were targeting.

Why would anyone trust these vaccine conglomerates when their actions prove they are motivated by money, power and a desire to slay our children? A whopping 128,000 people a year die from prescription drugs made by these companies. We should not be naïve to the fact that these people in power who want us all vaccinated view us as unsustainable animals.

The Sunday Times wrote an article on May 24, 2009, titled, “Billionaire Club in Bid to Curb Overpopulation.” It revealed that America’s richest people met to discuss ways of tackling a disastrous environmental, social and industrial threat. What is that threat? Us. We are the threat!

The article stated the following:

Some of America’s leading billionaires have met secretly to consider how their wealth could be used to slow the growth of the world’s population and speed up improvements in health and education.

Vaccines are far from over because the globalists have not yet managed to complete the process of robotizing us. Created pandemics will be part of the global future and those who are allowed to remain living will be transformed into obedient hybrids through massive gene-editing strategies and other invasive technologies. Do not be fooled, this great reset carries a lot of dark spiritual implications behind its agenda.

Already the news is starting to swerve back to the pandemic to ready the populations for more vaccine mandates. Yahoo news just put out an article entitled, “Fresh Covid Wave Expected to Hit the US as Omicron Subvariant and Patchy Vaccination Rates Drive Surge in Europe.” The Washington Post published this the same day: “A Covid Surge in Western Europe has US Bracing for Another Wave.”

What most people do not realize is that the marionettes for the global elite have no allegiance to the countries they have been assigned to rule over. Their goals and dedications are spurned by godless creeds to dominate all nations under one government and to assume absolute power over all of humanity. They have no interest in retaining the history or laws of the nations they reside over, or pacifying the people they rule. They are bound to a dogma which supersedes wealth and self-satisfaction. Everything they do is to further total dominion and control over humanity—in every aspect imaginable—and this involves restructuring the world under one utopian hellhole.

Most Americans want to believe that their votes count, and that the liberal and conservative candidates campaigning for president might bring forth some sort of protection for American values and freedom, but this is a mirage because the US is already listed as a member of sustainable development. Biden’s Build Back Better strategy is adopted by the United Nations and entwined with SDGs. Both Trump and Biden (along with Clinton and Obama during their presidencies) signed agreements which fortified Agenda 2030.

Biden’s strategies to destabilize the US and pave the way for Agenda 2030 is evident in his actions. Last year he shut down the US pipeline, undermining the US from becoming self-sufficient on energy. His actions ensured America remained dependent on Russia. And herein lies the kicker, by buying oil and gas from Russia, Biden funded Russia’s war with the Ukraine, which in turn allowed the US to become further weakened after he cut off that same oil supply with Russia. And with Saudi Arabia now considering accepting the Chinese yuan for some of its oil sales, and shifting away from the US petrodollar toward Asia, America drops down another status notch on its belt.

Everything Biden does is to further the SDGs. Once the new global order finalizes their hold on the world, only sustainable energy sources will remain intact. Coal, gas, oil and nuclear energy will eventually be phased out, and planned energy “crises” will be utilized to make sure that happens.

The open invasion of Ukraine by boogeyman Putin is a stout statement by the global order of a geo-political shift and power change over the West. The world is now clay in the hands of the elite. The more they squeeze, the more drastic the changes.

When the Ukraine mess started, the controlled media abruptly stopped hounding the masses about the Covid-19 pandemic. The newly created “crisis” was meant to become the new focus for the global agenda. The scary war replaced the scary virus and the elite players of the Covid-19 fiction drama gave a bow, and the curtain went down (for a season). But as soon as the curtain of make-believe dropped on the pandemic, it shot right back up and string-puppets Biden, Putin and Zelenskyy stepped on stage, waltzing before the world, tossed about by the secret magicians who are the key players in organizing the new world order.

Russia’s sudden dance with Ukraine makes sense, especially with the knowledge of what transpired last October 13th, 2021, when Russia signed a pact with the World Economic Forum to open the first Fourth Industrial Revolution Center in Moscow. This center is all about kickstarting artificial intelligence and packaging transhumanism globally. I am not surprised to see this center open in Russia. Ex-KGB man Putin is a chameleon. He does not value human life, making Moscow a wise choice for the obliteration of human souls.

Putin’s goals are not to realign Ukraine under Russian possession, but to line up with what Russia’s dreams have always been, and that is to communize the world under one dictatorial canopy. Everything Putin is doing now is being pedaled to demonize perception of democracy. Putin did not go off his meds and become a crazy lunatic as the media is portraying—his bully-dances are scripted (albeit a real act of war against humanity).

This Ukrainian invasion by Russia is simply the tail of the orchestrated Covid-19 pandemic dragon, which right off the bat (no pun intended) was meant to strip the western nations down to the bone and hang them from their necks.

Ukraine’s top diplomat, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, another stringed-actor, is adding more propaganda to the mix.  He provides a scripted warning to the United Nations that a large-scale war with Russia would be the “end of the world order as we know it.”

He goes on to spew, “If Russia does not get a severe, swift and decisive response now, this will mean a total bankruptcy of the international security system and international institutions which are tasked with maintaining the global security order.”

Darn right, the war could disrupt the world’s monetary system and usher in a cashless society—just what the elite have been wanting in order to reset the world. And out of the chaos collectivism will take center stage and bring order to the nations, becoming the global savior for the world.
