Since my tiny nine-year-old self, with the upheaval we went through when we left Ethiopia, it was as though I was given the gift: of Paris, of Kent (southern England), Pennsylvania, New York, and now Toronto/Mississauga. And I took it, wholeheartedly. It is a progression, which led to all my ideas in art, writing, blogs.
